From the official Comics Code webpage:
In The Comics Code, author Graeme Burk tells stories about comics, and its creators, from the first century of its medium.
Using spoken word, interviews with creators and experts, archival materials, dramatic readings, music and sound effects, Graeme tells the stories behind some of comics’ greatest creations. Some of these stories have never been told before… or never told fully.
We’ll peek behind the page and talk about found and stolen dreams, petty feuds turned ugly, moral panics and witch-hunts… and beautiful stories and creations by talented people that brought wonder, delight and excitement.
I'm an award-winning multimedia producer with over two decades of experience creating unexpectedly interesting radio, television, and web content for PBS, NPR, CBS Radio, WGBH, and Lehigh Valley Public Media. I'm also a freelance musician, essayist, sound designer, and video artist, as well as being the brains (and the brawn, for that matter) behind the Youtube channel Sycorax Rock. I've produced public media fundraising campaigns that brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars, and won two Emmys and a national PMA award for Lehigh Valley Public Media.

I'm originally from New England - the outskirts of the Boston suburbs, specifically. I grew up in a house full of musical instruments and stories and slightly dated technology, and developed a love of all of those things. I taught myself to type while playing Zork on the old Atari 800, and learned basic music theory making .MOD tracker songs in the '90s. And that's been a pattern my whole life - in fact, I've developed quite a few marketable skills by simply messing around with stuff.
